Welcome to Baincraig Lodge

Baincraig Lodge is a well-equipped self-catering holiday cottage for up to four people. It is in a rural setting, with its own garden and fabulous views south to Falkland and the Lomond Hills. Spacious, light and airy, the Lodge has two bedrooms, a comfortable sitting area, separate dining area, fully fitted kitchen, family bathroom, en suite shower and separate utility room. The sitting area has French windows out onto an extensive veranda. It is peaceful and secluded, surrounded by farmland, but located only 10 minutes' walk from Auchtermuchty, with a convenient Co-op, post office and pharmacy.

Baincraig Lodge is a perfect base from which to explore Fife and the surrounding areas of Scotland - only an hour from Edinburgh or Stirling, and 30 minutes to St Andrews or Perth. Pitmedden Forest with its network of tracks is within walking distance, and the Lomond Hills and the Fife Coastal Path are only a short drive away. Or bring bikes and explore the many cycle tracks.

The Lodge is very suitable for families. Children can run around safely in the garden and make as much noise as they like. We do not have any dogs. It is also well situated for lots of family friendly activities in North Fife and further afield.

The Lodge is situated on 1/3 acre within the main Baincraig property, which is owned by Sarah and her husband, Alistair. It has parking for several cars and we can provide locked cycle storage and hosing down facilities. From spring to late autumn, cows, sheep and alpacas will be in the neighbouring fields - often with lambs in the spring.
