Supermarkets - The Co-op in Auchtermuchty High Street is walking distance from Baincraig Lodge and has a useful supply of basics. Sainsbury's Kinross is just off Junction 7 of the M90, 20 minutes away. There is also a Tesco in Cupar and a Morrisons in Glenrothes.
Butchers - Good butchers include Minicks of Cupar (KY15 4HH) and Ladybank (KY15 7JU) and Hunters of Kinross (KY13 8AJ).

Cafes, pubs and restaurants
There are many cafes across Fife for lunch, including at the various farm shops. For lunch in Auchtermuchty, try the Tannochbrae Tearoom, owned by World Porridge Making Champion, Neal, and enjoy Neal's delicious freshly prepared soups, cakes and sandwiches, or relax with a beer and lunch at our "local", the Cycle Tavern in Burnside.
